Early Childhood Education

Program Description

  • Understand growth and development of children ages birth-eight
  • Learn the method of planning, writing, and implementing lesson plans
  • Interact daily with preschool children
  • Assist in running a state licensed preschool
  • Develop mastery of the theories behind early childhood education
  • Obtain student placement for experience in K-4th grade classrooms
  • Earn four certifications which will allow for immediate employability in a daycare or preschool setting
